
Pantelitsa Savva
Pandelitsa has offered psychotherapy and counseling services to adults and children at the Counseling Center of Research and Psychological Services (SKEPSI), under the supervision of experienced professors. She mainly dealt with topics such as anxiety and eating disorders, personal development and self-improvement, communication skills and functional interpersonal relationships, divorce, grief as well as family counseling. She has also offered services at the Open Therapeutic Community for Addicted People, “Tolmi” Paphos (KENTHEA) providing psychological support to individuals who had addiction difficulties – on both individual and group psychotherapy- and/or their families. Also, through her collaboration with the Immediate Intervention Team (OAP) of the Ministry of Education, she provided services as a Counseling Psychologist on a range of topics and with a variety of age groups, offering psychological support and conducting intervention programs, experiential group workshops and lectures.
Pandelitsa conducted the only research (Thesis) has ever done in Cyprus, which studied the phenomenon of Mobbing (Bullying at the workplace) in general population. Research’s results showed, among other outcomes, that women «Mob» other women three times more than men do, and men also reported being mobbed by women rather than men, into the workplace.
At present, Pandelitsa running her own private practice, providing counseling and psychotherapy services at the Mental Health Centre – “Psychogenesis”. She offers services in Greek and English language, to adults, adolescents and children who face a wide variety of difficulties, as well as providing parents and couples counseling, seminars and experiential workshops. She also providing counseling services to the Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family (SPAVO).
